Viking Telecom Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) Case Study – Full House Wi-Fi Coverage at Hong Lok Yuen

An existing customer (who has been using our internet service for their company’s factory) contacted us at 8:30 PM with an inquiry. Their home was using a major telecom provider’s fiber broadband, but relocating incurred high fees. To make matters worse, they learned that a relocation request required 28 working days’ notice. However, the customer was moving to their new home the next day and needed Wi-Fi urgently, as having no internet would be highly inconvenient.
Viking Telecom provided a short-term, full-house Wi-Fi solution with Fixed Wireless Access, offering instant setup and immediate connectivity to meet the new home’s internet needs. Once the fiber broadband relocation is complete, the customer can cancel our service.
The very next day, we installed wireless broadband with full-home Wi-Fi coverage (5 x Mesh Wi-Fi). After the fiber relocation was finalized, we stepped back, mission accomplished.
